I am more than happy to help you with whatever problem you are having but if I do so then you need to realize that there are two rules you must follow if you want continued support.

  1. You are not allowed to make suggestions as to how the problem can be fixed. You don’t know what you are talking about, that is why I am here.
  2. Do not ask me every 60 seconds if it is working. My continued presence clearly indicates that the problem still exists. In fact, I will tell you when the issue has been solved!

Now, I think we can both agree that if you follow these two simple little rules our quality of life will improve significantly.
