Happy 1!

Whew, things have been crazy. A brief anniversary update, because it deserves one.

Friday night
Nothing happened because the woman ruined my super secret surprise plans!
Saturday morning
Breakfast at the Jukebox Grill – where we went for breakfast the morning after the wedding. While we were gone I had Clark and Kristin sneak into the house and set up four dozen roses on the table so it would be the first thing Jenny saw when we walked in. It worked!
Saturday evening
Our friends wedding! Now, when I told people that we were going to a friends wedding for our anniversary they thought that we’d be annoyed. Are you kidding? How many people are treated on their anniversary to a catered dinner, live DJ, wedding cake and dancing? It was awesome! Congrats again to Tim and Andrea!
Sunday morning
Church and trickery. Jojo and I ran out for a bit to grab a bunch of the fake grapes and the charger plate that J and I used for the centerpieces at the reception. I still had a wine bottle and candle and glass to finish the recreation.
Sunday afternoon
More trickery. Got Jenny out of the house and while she was gone I got to do one of my favorite things: serve my wife. I made dinner, set up the centerpiece, and then we watched a movie of her choice while we ate chocolate and drank a bottle of desert wine we picked up in Traverse City on our honeymoon.
