Geez

Have you ever imagined how a possible conversation might go and been so deep in thought that when you snapped out of it you realized that your lips were moving?
Last Saturday Jenny and I went to Panera’s for breakfast and I caught a baby looking at me so I did what I always do in such occasions. I made funny faces. Later that day I happened to recollect this event. Yeah, go ahead and guess what happened. There I was at Sam’s Club, in line, by myself and full on making the most ridiculous faces for no apparent reason. Yeah.

Adventures on the trails – Ha!

This (red) is what I was supposed to do:
And this is what I did today:
Anderson – Red 01 at EveryTrail
I’m not quite sure what happened, but I think it’s funny that they look almost nothing alike.

Women face trial for staged motel tryst ending with glued penis
Posted on September, 10 at 9:13 pm
If that didn’t win Most Bizarre Headline, I don’t know what would.
A Wisconsin judge ruled there is enough evidence for four women to stand trial for their roles in a staged motel tryst that ended with a man tied to a bed, his penis super-glued to his stomach, a lawyer for one of the women said Wednesday.
…
The 37-year-old man, who is in custody on charges in an unrelated case, delivered his testimony wearing an orange jailhouse jumpsuit.
…
The man’s wife and two of his girlfriends hatched a plot to lure him to a Stockbridge motel on July 30 and confront him after learning that he was having “sexual relations” with all of them, a criminal complaint states.

A perfect example of the Apple rumor mill
Posted on September, 3 at 3:35 pm
Many sites are pointing to Know Your Mobile as a source for the rumor. That story, however, appears to be a slight embellishment of claims made by FSMdotCOM last week. FSMdotCOM’s report, in turn, quotes a ModMyi user who noticed portions of MMS functionality in the iPhone OS 3.1 beta and who reportedly received word from an AT&T representative that MMS would be enabled by the end of the month in backing up a previous FSMdotCOM report from early August simply claiming that MMS functionality would be coming “later this summer” after the launch of iPhone OS 3.1.

No, not because I turned 30 today. Because of this thing of beauty: deep fried butter.

Except, of course, the movie isn’t going to be awesome in any way, shape or form. But the video is still pretty funny.

PSA: Technical support
Posted on August, 10 at 11:22 am
I am more than happy to help you with whatever problem you are having but if I do so then you need to realize that there are two rules you must follow if you want continued support.
- You are not allowed to make suggestions as to how the problem can be fixed. You don’t know what you are talking about, that is why I am here.
- Do not ask me every 60 seconds if it is working. My continued presence clearly indicates that the problem still exists. In fact, I will tell you when the issue has been solved!
Now, I think we can both agree that if you follow these two simple little rules our quality of life will improve significantly.

Me: Have I ever told you that I appreciate you?
Jenny: Nope, never.
Me: There must be a reason for that.
